Question for Netflix Subscribers

I'm planning on signing up for Netflix soon, but I have a question for those of you already using the service:

How do you mail back your DVDs: do you put them in your mailbox for the postal carrier to pick them up? Or do you drive them to a post office / mailbox?

Is one faster than the other?

I have a trained pigeon that takes the envelopes directly to the nearest Netflix distribution center.
If they are slow to send me out my next DVD, I ask the pigeon to shit on their mailbox.

beat me to it

I put mine in my mailbox, usually it is back at the Netflix warehouse the next day and my next movie gets shipped out same day. For example, I just put one in my mailbox yesterday to be returned. It was received today and my next one shipped out today, and I will receive it tomorrow.

Mailbox. I don't think the USPS actually would begin delivering it any sooner if you brought it to them at 6am than at 4pm. They might sort it, but I would be surprised if they actually began routing it before the "rest of the mail" arrived at the end of the day. Since I am truly ignorant about how the USPS routes mail, I am hoping someone can verify this or disprove me with cool links and stuff.

I just put them in my outgoing mail. They receive them the next day and ship one out that day.
