Why doesn't ANANDTECH FORUMS have the the views counter for threads? I have seen this on other forums with similar formats (fat wallet, for example), and I remember seeing it here for a short short time a while back.

Just curious, thanks for your time

It was tried sometime back and it made the system come to a crawl. There are just too many threads in here to do that, I think.

FW doesn't have 60,000+ members
 
No, but FW does have what, 12000 right now? Thats 1/5 of AT. Cant imagine the strain would be THAT bad.
