Question for MIS Majors

Yo. I'm currently a sophomore at The Ohio State University majoring in MIS. I'm currently dreading a Accounting Final that I'll be taking tomorrow and realizing that I am absolutly TERRIBLE at accounting. My question is this. At OSU MIS and Accounting are kind of categorized together, like the classes I'll be taking are called ACCTMIS 512 or something like that. Am I to dread the next 2 years of there being tons of horrible accounting? Is there REALLY that much accounting in MIS? I didn't think there would be but that's ACTMIS classes are like half of my schedual for the next 2 years with CIS being the other half. Any input?

At Eastern Washington University we only have to take 2 accounting classes in MIS. Financial and Managerial accounting.

Yeah thats what I'm taking now 212 - Managerial, already took 211 - Financial. I was just wondering since they're grouped together if I had to expect more or something of the same that was kind of like Accounting

Managerial should be the last accounting class, but there is also Stats 1 and 2 and Financial Management. Im not sure what Financial Mangement is yet im taking that next qtr, but it sounds like it might use some accounting...

I had to take financial accounting. Only one course though. It's not that bad and at the very least you'll be able to read financial statements from corporations and whatnot.
I think the quality of the teacher has a LOT to do with it. I was lucky and got a really good teacher just before he retired and got a good grade in the course.
If your school has a help center I'd take advantage of it.

Yeah the teacher thing is partially my problem. I have a terrible teacher for Managerial Acct but my Financial Acct teacher was alright. I'm just NOT getting it. At least it sounds like I shouldn't have to take any Acct after this and Stats isn't too hard for me.
