Luckily my choice of careers places value on real-world experience and not the ability to calculate the theoretical value of some XYZ unknown...in a vacuum...on Mars...on Feb 29th of a leap year...while listening to Dark Side of the Moon...with blacklights on....while inhaling Magnesium Phosphate fumes.

Possibly, it's an equation to minimize noise in a low noise receiver. More practically however, it's something that might be applied to cell phone or WiFi design.

Nobody actually solves an equation like that in the workplace though, you'd usually use a simulator to do it for you but our TA feels we should see what the solution looks like at least once in our lives. :roll: Yeah, whatever.
