Definitely OSX. I love the OS. Using it on my own choice of desktop hardware spec is icing on the cake.
As far as I care about 'design' the MacBooks can't be beat. In the case of a laptop, good design does translate into better user experience, and the MacBooks deliver.
AOIs to me are for old folks who are practically computer-illiterate, and tech noobs- I know it's probably an unfair assessment for a lot of people who prefer them but aren't either of the above, but that's my opinion. Maybe I'll own them when I retire- along with a car the size of a boat.
Love the MacPros- had virtually every revision of them at work. I couldn't care less about the case or the 'design' of the internal layout as none of that gets my work done or pays me any more than another set of standards (and there are many in the tech world) for a tower Mac would. But they are very nice machines.
The newer Minis are pretty cool as HTPCs and mini-servers and such.
