Nah. The sentiments are basically the same. Whether a turd is packaged in giftwrap or a brown-paper bag, it's still a turd. ;)

Nazi slurs are reserved for conservatives.

Personally, not a big fan of "feminazi" myself. It degrades the term Nazi and the memory of the holocaust and WW2.

That you have a list of those whose views you find objectionable which you have published on the Net. Seems a little "MaCarthy/Nixonish" to me.

With all my observation of the consistent output of the L3s, one can't help but become an expert in that field. :)

More like social radical archeology, specializing in coprolites, since so much of that output is fossilized.

Did you hear about the Archeoligist who thought he found the petrified prick of a Peruvian Prince in a Tomb high in the Andes? Turned out some creep krept into the crypt and crapped.

I don't have a list of those whose views I find objectionable. That's an assumption on your part. I fully support everyone's right to free speech.

I have a list of quotes show a representation of what kind of over-the-top bigoted language, personal attacks, profanities and sometimes statements of questionable legality, are permitted on this board by certain members and are not acted upon by certain moderators. Nothing that anyone couldn't gather with a search function or google. The quote function is used extensively on this board, so I question why you would think it was "McCarthy/Nixonish". All I've done is aggregate them.

That's the difference between the right and the left on this board. If you're on the right, keeping such a list makes you McCarthy-esque. If you on the left, keeping such a list would make you a database administrator. ;)

And the purpose of this published list is???? This forum is what it is, to some a bastion a liberalism, to others a place to vent and to most members who don't post here a place to keep all the Hotheads and Flamers out of the other forums. It suits that purpose to a tee!

The purpose of the list is simply to show numerous examples of what is tolerated when liberals post them.

Many posters have stated that this place used to be very conservative.
You all have no ground for rational debate anymore with the serious screw ups of the current administration so the right wing loonies only do 8 out of the 20 trolls a day posted now, wow you guys are sure opressed  Like I said cry me a river folks. We all know your not going to be happy until you get your way and make this place is freerepublic lite.
Quit whining already and make this place better if you don't like it. Why don't you all pool together all that money you saved with bushs tax breaks to buy out AT or something if it bugs you too much. Then you can all be the little dictators you dream of!

Wow this thread went bad fast. Just to make a few quick points. To say that conservative posters are banned or held to a different standard is ludicrous. Conservatives and Liberals a like here are just as hateful to each other. The only difference is there are more liberals on this forum than conservatives. So the conservatives find themselves playing defense more. But its not because they are somehow more respectful in their debate, because they're not. Now having said that, I would have to agree centinel, Steeplerot makes an occasional good point but most of the time he/she is a nut case.

No bomb-thrower? just nut-case?...I'm slipping...../jk

I harbor no actual real life ill-will toward my fellow Americans, sometimes I do wish they would think about things more. And yes sometimes I get in "the mode" and rant a bit and sometimes say over-the-top stuff but all-in-all the crew here mostly are alright and actually hold their ground.
This place is pretty divided but it's democracy and we all have our issues with the current state of events.
This is a venting place for me. If I really do something to offend besides the partisan jabs it is not personal -it's politics

Usually, it becomes all the evil/bad news in a article/item is a fault of the Repubs/Bush.

then when justiication is requested by a supporter, the opponents all jump in with selective links.
then the Rep supporters will counter with selective links.

It boils down to, that if there is a view point expressed that is not in line with ones political leanings, then the political point must be attacked vs the merits of the item.

Regretfully, the libs are much more agressive because their champion lost, therefore they seem to feel a need to compensate by destroying vs building.

Some libs are pure entertainment, others are a PITA.

There are a few that actually will contribute without resorting to political mud slinging as a justification.

You probably just notice those of the liberal mindset more here, because the vast majority of the world does not support bush or his madness. And this forum is open to the world, and not the usa microcosm you live in. So of course you will really notice the 'liberals' as you call them (read sane against the nutty war folks) As we constitute easily an 80% majority in the world.

Are you sure that liberlas 'easily' constitute 80% of the world? I really doubt that. I would assume that it's probably the other way around. Do you honestly feel that much of the world, such as the billions of people in India and China, are socially liberal? Maybe I'm wrong here, but for some reason I don't think they would be very accepting of stuff like homosexual marriage.

And then we have the nutjobs like the guy in my sig who would make the conservatives that you know look like extremist liberals.

It would be great if you were right, but I really think that you're wrong.

True, what would probably be more accurate to say is that liberals constitute 80% of the first world countries. America/Europe combined. (allthough 80% may be a bit high still)

I don't think you could divide the world into such a shade of black and white.
Even in europe their are more parties then we have.
I really would like to see the spectrum more spread out like:
Christian Conservatives
Socialist Party
Green
Democrat
Libertarian
Republican

I myself think Dems are boring republican lites and that republicans are not represented anymore by the mainstream GOP.
Choice is good someone really should do something about it. If there is any reason for a revoloution (bloodless) this is what i'd like to see
Many more choices don't narrow people down so far into a huge generalzation. =less partisan backbiting.
A european may smack down that theory if they feel diffrent.

I dunno coulter says stuff IMO that is off the wall to make cash.
I don't think she even believes the crap she spews for ratings (I would really really hope not-I do still have SOME hope for humanity.)
Feelings run high here but the sheer hatred factor is not on the same level as coulter.

(And you will never hear me preaching about killing others or deporting etc. etc. if that was pointed at me in some way.)

I beg to differ. Would you like me to PM you some examples of how wrong you are? I know specifically of 5 conservative posters vacationed (one perm-banned) for the most meaningless reasons within the past 30 days. How many liberal posters have been vacationed for ANY reason in the past 6 months??

For example, I was most recently given a vacation for, and I paraphrase:

"calling everybody I don't agree with a troll" and "causing threads to go off topic". I'll gladly PM you the specifics so as not to get yet another ban.

Translation? I dared to challenge prolific (liberal) posters statements.
