I went from a win 7 to a win 10 system, keeping the same usernames and passwords, and now I have to transfer the Cobian Backup tasks. According to Luis guides, I read that you need to copy the DB, Log and Settings folders, then use the reset permissions tool and restart. My goal is to continue the automatic cycle of incremental backups on the new PC without having to forcefully perform the full backups all over again. However, the procedure does not work and when the backup starts there is the warning "first backup of the task, starting complete backup"; this behavior lasts also if I unflag the option "first backup always complete". Do you know if what I would like to do is possible? I'm asking this also because in a first, casual attempt, having copied only the DB/.lst file, the program opened in the new machine with the task pefectly updated and performed an incremental image task exactly as I needed, then I could never repeat the operation.
