My mom wants a "food mill" for christmas. I have no idea what this is or why she wants one, so could someone help me figure out which one to buy?

there's two at amazon. one is $25, one is $70. i can't really tell the difference and unless someone tells me otherwise, i'll probably get the more expensive one to make sure she gets something of higher quality. i mean... it's my mom, right?

but if you've actually used one could you weigh in?

Hmmm....

Difficult to tell juat from the photos. Try to go to a store, so you can pick them up and feel them. Physical quality is what is important with this kind of thing. Check out how the handles are attatched, are they screwed on or riveted?

I've gotta say that the second handle on the more expensive one is a nice feature.
