Sell your card on FS/T, don't ship till you have payment in hand, make your Heat 2 refs instead of 1. Anyone who asks you to ship first, tell them "no" or that you will if they use an escrow service and pay the fee. I'd trust you, Heat or not, having read your posts.

he already offered an escrow service in his original reply.. anyone know of any? tho i wonder how long it would delay...

i'd kinda like to have some time before i leave for the east coast on the 21st.. 2 weeks away from my toys.. hmm.. dunno how THAT"s gonna work ;)

Chumbo should have the BFG GT OC back in stock soon and they have free 2-day shipping. You can pre-order it for $399 here. I'd follow the suggestions and sell your X800 in FS/FT and just place an order for the GT. Seems like a little more peace of mind. ;)

I'd skip that. For $400 you might as well get the evga card with free Farcry. The BFG only has the advantage of being core overclocked out of the box, which doesn't mean much to people who do overclock further. I haven't seen anything to indicate they use better cores on their cards either.

heh.. i finished far cry a couple months ago.. not if it were doom3 or hl2, i would get excited ;)

one thing about BFG tho, is that their customer support is great, and that means something... i remember back awhile when gameve was shipping what appeared to be "used" vanilla 5900s, and BFG was excellent in helping those customers out.. in fact, many ended up getting ultra cards as replacement once BFG ran out of the vanillas...

support like that is more important than a old game :)
