Actually, you are completely responsible for knowing ALL the traffic laws. as the adage goes, ignorance of the law is no excuse. Why do yu think new drivers are supposed to read and know what's in the driver's manual....that mysterious booklet each and every state publishes that *GASP* contains the traffic laws for that state.
