(3) Some people think things over carefully and choose religion.

I happen to fit into #4. I have a lot of respect for people in #3 or #4. I have no respect for people who fit into #1 or #2. However, what does intelligence have to do with that?

I agree with that. #1 and #2 = Bad.

I think we're a bit more on the socially progressive side of things..so yes, I think we're far more intelligent than you backwards ass religious people who has to hang on and depend on some man-made cult/scam/business to feel better about themselves.

I don't think I'm more intelligent than religious people, but I don't like to fall in, or be a part of, the dogma of religion.

I'm part of the dogma of a lot of ther things, sure, but not religion. It contradictions are . . . less subtle than others we live with.

(Yes, I understand the irony of my username and posting this - it's partially done on purpose. Partially.)

Interesting that you would mention "scam/buisness" when you write spyware.

Do you feel that you are more intelligent then believers/religious people and if so, why?

I feel I am more intelligent than everybody else, and believers are a subset of everybody else, therefore, yes, yes I do.

No, I don't feel more intelligent than anyone that worships a imaginary entity. I respect their values and beliefs but I still disagree with them. I hope they respect my beliefs just the same.

"an imaginary entity"? . . . i don't respect the basis for their values or beliefs. 😉

. . . and they clearly don't respect my beliefs 😛

ANYway,

IF it is imaginary, then i feel less "fooled" and cheated and i chose wisely.

If not, i don't agree what is revealed by religion because it is so ILLogical (anyway).

LOL! Ok, I may have worded that wrong... in any case, the stance I take is that just because someone believes in something that I don't doesn't make thier beliefs any better or more true than mine... Just different is all. 😉

I stopped believing in imaginary friends some where before puberty. When I did have imaginary friends, there were actually friends and not some old man that lived in the sky and was to be feared because if I did something wrong he would send me to burn in hell forever, and ever, and ever, and why? Because he loved me, of course! Yea?right
