Question concerning additional hubs??

I currently have 9 computers networked through my office using Win98. I have two hubs/swithces uplinked to each other as the main junction. I would like to add an additional computer in one of the offices, unfortunately, it is on the other side of the office and being a very old building, it is a MAJOR pain to run the CAT5 cable through.

My question is...can I set up an additional hub/switch in the room with the new computer and then just run a CAT5 cable to each of the two computers in this room? Additionaly, if this is possible, would I need to connect the cable from the wall into a regular port on the hub, or into an uplink port?

TIA for any help/advice 😀

You should be able to do it and plug the cat5 into the uplink on the hub for the new computers and to a regular port on the other hubs.
