Is it a chase card as well? I would pay it today to be safe.

Pay now online. Why wait and pay for something that you don't have to pay til next month?

It is incomprehensible to me why anyone would take the chance of a late payment (and all that it generates - fees, raised rates, interest, whatever else they can tack on) on an amount that IS due in order to pay items that won't be due for another month and that haven't even been posted and that may not even get posted before the weekend is over.

At first i was confused about how that worked, and then i finally understood it (its my first CC, ive only had it for a bit), but for some dumb reason i cant explain, i enjoy starting off with a fresh 0 on my credit card heh.

I've actually paid my cc for charges in advance. For example, I'll be renting a car this evening and I already paid it off on my cc by logging on. Some credit cards allow you to pay any amount regardless if it's due or not. It's great for me since I don't have to worry about it later on.
