question can a ti200 work in a lx chipset?

I have a gainward ti200 and it don't seem to work in a old pc that runs a lx chipset.
Its a celeron 566 ,i've updated the bios and install new drivers as well as tryed powerstrip,
still won't give me more than 16 color at 640x 480 any advice (beside bin it all) would be helpful.

It's a 1.5v 4x AGP card, so it's not likely gonna work in an old 3.3v AGP port..it might fry the card and the motherboard..
