Question about XP install

I have a quick question.

When doing a XP install by booting from the CD, it says at the start to press F6 to install 3rd party scsi drivers. Now I know if you have a SATA controller you press F6.

What I want to know is would XP's setup be able to use a USB floppy drive to install the SATA/scsi drivers?

Interesting question. It should, but I wouldn't like to bank on it. If there's no other floppy drive attached, in theory it should hit the first floppy it finds, be it on FDD0 or USB.
