question: if i bought a game from xbox marketplace or paid for dlc, will these purchases be linked to my account? ie if i were to format my hdd or remove downloads to make space, would i be able to redownload whatever i paid for without paying for them again? thanks in advance.

I don't have access at work, but I think there's even a site within the xbox site that shows you all the things you've downloaded from Live, free and DLC. That would be handy if it ever comes time to try and remember everything you've already bought.

DLC on the Xbox gets tied to 2 things - your Gamertag and your console ID.

Gamertag obviously requires you to be online - console ID does not. Console ID is not tied to your HD. If you format your drive, you can re-download everything without an issue.

Login to xbox.com, then go to My Account > Purchase History. It lists everything you've ever downloaded (except demos, apparently).

160,000 MS points? Is it showing you this somewhere?

Someone needs to remove their credit card from their account. :Q

How is $2000 even possible?

What did you get?

That is 200 $10 arcade games, or 1000 Rock Band individual songs....

That's a lot to spend on whole games for the year, let alone just on DLC. I'm impressed.
