Question about windows update

Hi all,

For the past month or so, there have been appearing the same updates over and over on my computer, most of them are about Microsoft framework and one about windows defender, the problem is, I download them everytime, one update fails to install, then the updates appear the next time again I start my computer, and the same thing happens again. I am thinking to run the latest auto patcher or even a repair install, do you think one of those will fix my problem?

Thanks.

Problems with Microsoft .NET Framework updates are fairly common. To fix them, all of the .NET Framework applications need to be uninstalled and then re-installed again in a particular order. I've used the "cleanup tool" that's mentioned here, but I see that MS now recommends first trying a set of manual uninstalls:

Windows Defender is a true update...I just disable the service completely and the updates go away 🙂 (..and so does the program)

Hello,

I uninstalled all of them, lucky I had the original version file for each NET. Framework, I didn't reinstall the updates manually, because I used windows update for it, but at least they don't appear anymore.

Thanks to all.
