Question about Voltage

Hey all

I overclocked by AMD 3000+ to 2.2 GHZ on a MSI K8N Neo Platinum. The board came with the PC Alert Utility. When I load up PC alert, under the voltage for the +12 V it is highlighted in red and beeping. It lists the voltage for the +12 V at 2.1 Volts. Any advice on fixing this would be appreciated.

Holy shiz!!! 2.1V?! That thing must be lying to you. Go download MMB5 and tell us what readings it gives you.

MBM 5 gives me an 11.92v reading, so I'm guessing that's the one to go by

Much better. Seriously, at 2.1V, I'd think your PC either wouldn't turn on or blow up.

MBM still isn't THAT accurate, but it's good enough. If you really want to see what your voltage is, check it at a molex power connector with a DMM.
