I've heard that the VHS to DVD devices out there only convert the VHS video into MPEG video, is that correct?
Is there a way to convert the MPEG into Divx Avi format? I've heard of software that can do it, but I'm not even sure if it's true.
I've also read somewhere that there's some website that converts your VHS tapes into DVD if you ship them your tapes. Anyone know the URL for it?
