Question about using the SEARCH feature

If this is in the wrong place, sorry.

I am having problems doing a search for a recent thread where I bought a laptop from another user (Sensor). I have searched "current messages" for both my and his usernames, and found nothing. I then used "messages over 45 days old" and did not find it (for the record, it is not a 45 day old thread, I just gave it a shot). I noticed when I search for current messages, I get one full page, but not "next xx" button. So appears like if that thread is going to be on the second window, I can't pull it up. I tried searching by specific dates, too, but that did not work either. I believe the first day I posed to this thread is May 10th. This is not the only thread I have had trouble finding, either.

Am I missing something or has anyone else noticed this?

I pulled up all his post; just click search, enter Sensor into the author box....select 90 days or whatever....check all the forums you want to serch...voila. I would do it and link it for you, but I only have 4-5 forums selected and would have to change all my settings 😉

Ok tried the 90 day option and DID NOT see the thread where I purchased his laptop. If you can link to it, then please do, cause I can't find the #$%#& thing!

I have also tried my username in these searches too.
