Urine is a sterile substance and will certainly be burned away by the flames within a couple minutes.

hand them a pistol and tell them to kill themselves because the germs on the cash in their pockets is worse.

I would think the aluminum getting in your food would be a million times worse than whatever is living on the grate.

Something similar, while in college I had a resident director throw out a gigantic bowl of pancake batter (it was for a floor breakfast) because she needed just a little more water and the resident who got it for her didn't use filtered water, just tap.

People are nuts.

Most "bad stuff is toasted well before 180 degrees. Usually around 160 degrees.

I know. Why don't these pussies stay home and cook on the stove?

..I use propane..but always burn off the crud from the last Q and then wire brush the grill. No big deal.

I've heard of using aluminum foil to clean the grill - i.e. wad it into a ball and use it to scrub the crap off the grates, but I've never heard of cooking on the foil. Kinda ridiculous since the whole point of barbecuing is letting the coals have direct access to the food.

I always brush it off... but it wouldn't bother me if i couldn't do that... like you said, the heat will kill even ebola, so i'm not too worried.

How do you use foil? Do you wrap each individual grill? Or do you cover it flat?
