Why are you using the T5400 in 2.1 and not 5.1?

I would think the Z-2300 would sound significantly better than the T5400 in 2.1. But I must say if your considering the Z-2300, don't. Check out the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 instead. That's a much better system.

I dont have experience with the other two mentioned, but my Z-2300's have been an absolute godsend. The sound is CRISP and loud, and the bass is absolute window rattling. I love it!

Its paired up with audigy 2 though, with a lot of settings made, but boy are they awesome.

Well, I was about to purchase the Klipsch, but then the Z2300 jumped from a $20 rebate to a $50, so I think I'll just get the Z2300 unless you can convince me otherwise. I don't need the speakers to be very loud anyway, even though I listen to techno/trance and play games.

In case you were wondering: I have not the room for more than a 2.1 setup, and I have an Audigy2 ZS.

Thanks guys.

Could you please direct me to where you have seen this rebate?

I'm planning on purchasing the same speakers next week and have been looking for the best deal.

Not sure about the rules of the forum so if you aren't allowed to post the link please send it in a PM.

Thank You

i got the z2300's for $50 cheaper than the klipsce 2.1 system from newegg, i regret it now, i should have spent the extra money. logitech speakers have no mids and just boomy bass. and loud squeaky highs. you'll see if u get them. my vote for klipsche even though i've never owed them

It was on newegg, but the rebate ended on the 24th. I'd check back at there periodically though because I've seen them offer identical rebates after the old ones run out.

z 2300 spank the t5400's. First they have a 8" sub. And I was considering the Klipsh buy EVERY review says the z2300's are way better.

Can you say THX
