I have a load of Gamecube games. If/When I purchase a Wii, is it possible to use the Gamecube games on the Wii?

Do people not do the most basic of research? This was one of the huge things that the Wii was pimping - full backwards compatibility.

Edit - Also, ibOMFGWhyCantIFindOne?

And kind of OT, but if you have an HDTV make sure you pick up component cables. I bought a cheap set of 3rd party cables (think they were like $10 or $15) and the difference for GC games is night and day. Smash Bros Melee looks so much better than it did on the cube at 480i. :)

I like posting here, plus I'm trying to reach a ridiculously high post count such as your own!

Do the smaller disks just insert in the front?

thanks for the replies.

Yep. Wii pretty much has a GC built into it. Just pop the cover and plug in controller and gane card and slide disc in the normal slot.
