Question about the R9 Fury (none X) and the RX 580

I need a replacement card to last me for a few months. I found a Saphire Nitro R9 Fury for $140. Or an MSI RX 580 Armor for $180. I know the RX is lower heat and power draw but does the Fury have better performance? Benchmarks I saw show it perform at a GTX 1070 level.

EDIT: I am using a 1080p Freesync Monitor

r9 fury is faster. About 15% faster.

Go with the Fury, they are closer to the 1070. Keep in mind though that they only have 4GB HBM, but that should be fine for you on 1080p. Also, the MSI armor is a kinda crappy cooler, while the Sapphire Nitro coolers are top notch.
