question about the R4 + web browsing for the DS

So I was wondering... If I wanted to browse the web with the DS, is the R4 sufficient? or do I need something else in addition to the R4?

Homebrew apps run fine on the R4 without anything else. If you want to use the official Nintendo DS Browser, you need the slot 2 RAM cartridge.
