I just got a TRUE for my Q6600 (2.9Ghz 322x9 1.325 vcore), been running Prime95 for about 20 minutes, or so and my temps are 67/67/55/51. I know there's some difference in per core temp, but this seems extreme. I am guessing I have to reseat it.
My question is, once you have the back plate in, does it hold enough so that you don't have to take out the mobo to pull the HSF off, and reapply grease, and reseat? Or am I going to have to tear this thing down again?
Or, am I worrying for nothing, and after a few days the temps should normalize?
