Question about testing LAN using Passmark Performance Test

I would like to test the transfer speed of my LAN. Passmark Performance Test (version 6.1.1013) in Advanced/Networking has what appears to be the very thing I wish; confirmed by screen shots on the Passmark home page. According to the instructions both machines must be running Passmark Performance Test networking test. You set one machine on the LAN to be server and start the software running by pressing Go. On the other machine you set it to client and enter the IP address for the machine that is set to be a server. When you press Go on the client the transfer test should begin. No matter what I do I can't get this to work. I have verified the IP address for the server machine by running ipconfig. My LAN has five computers on it, any one of which can communicate -- share files and printers -- with any other, but I can't get the Passmark Performance Test networking test to work between any pair of them.

Any one here familiar with the Passmark Performance Test networking test who could suggest what I am doing wrong?

Thanks for your help.
