ON the 8kha and 8k7a, I see two temperature readings in the bios...the CPU and the System temp. In CPUCool and MBM5, I see three....one certainly seems to be the CPU temp, one is the System, and then there's this other one that's about 3-5C higher than System temp...what is it? It's not even given in the manual....where the thermal diode on the board for it?

I used MBM as a monitor on an MSI6309 board, and had similar problems identifying which sensor is 'system' and which is 'cpu'.

About the only way you can be certain is to check the dynamic change in each sensor reading between cpu-idle and cpu-loaded. The cpu temp sensor will show a greater dynamic change between cpu-idle and cpu-loaded.

Hope this helps!
