I figured I'd give it a shot since alot of people seem to like it.
Its the only major distro I havent tried, but I've never been able to find an iso, and Im too lazy to download it in packages, I want a bootable CD :)

Which brings me to the question, where can it be found in ISO format?
I've found an evaluation version, what the deal with that one, is there like a timebomb on it or something?

ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/evaluation-7.0/evaluation-7.0.iso

It's essentially CD 1 from the set, and no, there's no timebomb. Install the base system and then choose ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/current/ for your setup medium next time you run YaST. Be sure and install all the package upgrades (there are others in ftp.suse.de as well).
