Question about Steam

So, i have a questing.

I bought HL2 from steam. So I play CS: Source and stuff.

What I am wondering is if it would be possible to setup steam and download CS Source to my Laptop as well. Obviously your not allowed to do this with regualr software. But I was wondering if steam allowed this because you need to login online, so you wouldent be able to use it on both computers at the same time.

Just my thought, but this would be really cool.

You can get around the problem by playing the games in Offline mode. This works fine for playing single-player HL2 on your 2 systems, but I'm not sure if it's possible to play CS: Source like that.

They make steam portable for you.
You can login to your steam account from any internet connected computer anywhere, anytime and download and play any/all steam games you own on your account.

And yes, as Blue Weasel implied, you will not be able to play online at the same time with your desktop and your laptop, but those two computers can play cs source against each other via LAN in offline mode.
