Question about staffing/headhunting firms

Lifer
How much do they usually make per salaried person they find(say $100,000 salary), as well as how much do they make for an hourly worker(say $50/hr for example)

what % or commission is about average?

For contract type staff 50% is the minimum with 150% being common as well. For true head hunting a flat fee or more likely a percentage of starting salary like 20-30%.

-edit-
for your example hourly they would be billed at at least 75 and hour, more likely 100 and hour and up to 125 an hour. For salaried a finders fee of 20-30K.
