OP, even if your SO doesn't mind it... don't smoke around her. you're messing up your lungs, but that's your choice. but you have no definite idea of how the secondary smoke is acting on her. if you care for her...

You're missing the point of the question....it is a theoretical question, if cigarettes were addictive, why isn't secondhand smoke?
