I've been thinking about getting a slingbox but I'm kind of on the shelf about what I should do. I've got Comcast broadband and dslreports shows my speed to be about 4600/480. I also have premium cable with a SA8300 HD-DVR. I'm considering my slingbox options and quite honestly I'd probably be content to just get the basic slingbox tuner because I'm a little confused as to how the AV version would access my cable box. And I'm doubting my broadband connection would be fast enough to transmit the HD content successfully.
Would anybody out there thats running a slingbox be willing to allow me to connect to their box to gauge the video quality? I'm really not sure what my broadband specs can handle and I'm on the shelf about the video quality.
