you can get gc in increments of $40 or $80. i want to get about $240 worth of gc for this one item. anyone know if this would work or is there a limit? i read the discover website but they dont state anything about a limit.

Can't see why there would be...I mean, they should be the same as cash, right?

GC = cash equivalent of the said store.

I got a couple sunglass hut GC's from discover and they were normal credit card style gift cards and I used both at the same time.

I have used lots of discover sharperimage rewwards cards. All of them stack neatly and have never had a problem before. I use them to buy ipod mini(s)

Just make sure you enter the nos for the gift or reward cards with the maount. They do verify the authenticity of each card used. If you have put ini gift cards/rewards cards worth more than the required amount, Si usually send you a certificate by mail for the remaining amount.
