I do believe it's permanent, but really not very cheap. The sex-change applicants often have it done all over their body, which I believe costs tens of thousands of dollars. If you google it, you could probably get a general estimate of how much it would cost just for your face.

gf is getting lasered from the neck down (except arms) to the tune of $4500 or so.

i just want the hollow parts of my neck done, i slice myself up pretty good trying to shave in there.

it's supposed to be permanent if done properly, but a lot of places don't do it properly. they use general purpose lasers that also work on veins or whatnot, rather than lasers specifically tuned for hair. and different hair needs different laser power.
