Question about SATA and IDE

I just ordered the Asus P5N-E with a 320gb Seagate SATA hard drive. This will be my first SATA drive. I plan to have the OS on the SATA and use my 2 old 200gb IDE drives as 2nd and 3rd hard drives. My question is how do I set this up in the BIOS and on the drives so that the SATA drive is the #1 drive? Thanks.

Thanks. That was my plan. When I hook up the 2 IDE, do I set one as the master, one as the slave or just keep them as cable select?

If you use the right cable connections, CS and M/S will be the same as long as they are in the right place.

I got my drive today and noticed there was a jumper on it. I read the top and it said with the jumper on its limited to 1.5gb/sec, with it off you get the full 3gb/sec I went ahead and removed it, was that the right thing to do?

Well I just got everything setup but I noticed that my 320gb drive is only showing up as 298gb total size. How do I get hte other 20gb or probably 10gb. Thanks

You don't... that's the way storage life is.
