question about resumes for internships.....

Question is:

How does these places like their resumes. I want to get teh CalEPA job, its paid. The others are unpaid. CalEPA is right here too, not far from home.

I have to send my resume, and I dont know what to put. My experience so far has been the computer side, so im moving from computers to environmental. I have no experince here..

What do I write in the resume? I mean do i put my low GPA? ( i think not ), do i put stuff like i taught my econ class for one day when the teacher was out (macro econ) - i also taught CS in HS (BASIC language to my fellow mates but no use putting that is there - its so long ago).

So what do I do? Work experience? School stuff, Computer experience? Im so frustrated. A resume is the life blood to things. Also i assume i include a coverletter to the person, how is that 'tactfully written'.. bah so much to do in so little time.

OMG Hippy!

Jk, but looking at what you posted, I would leave out the GPA (although they might be curious). The teaching for 1 day doesn't mean anything and the HS experience doesn't count for much. I would put your work experience, volunteer experience (more important in your case i think).

For your coverletter you can say you want to broaden your horizons and you're realy interested in environmental law and policy or wahtever.

well i did volunteer (though one day but who is telling) for the consumas river protection thinge. Damn I have volunteered for otehr things now ic ant remember.

My reason for not putting GPA, if its below 3.0 (which mine is) its no use putting it.
