-the Question is right now i have a hard drive that is a maxtor 30 gig 5400 rpm if i was to install this removable hard drive unit will it work even though it does not run at 7200 rpm and this lian li removable unit says 7200+///////////////////////Will my hard drive work with it my plan is to have two hard drives at my use the maxtor 30gig 5400 rpm and my new western digital 100 gig 7200.


any input would be appreciated on this topic........
 
Yes it'll work fine. You need to purchase an additional inner tray if you want to swap them easily.

 
so it will work even though it says 7200+, the one hard drive my old one is 5400rpm and the new one will be 7200rpm well thank and yeah i know i need to purchase and extra tray.

 
Drive speed doesn't have anything to do with the rack. That's just their way of marketing it.
