Question about PS3.....and XBOX 360

OK, when the Xbox360 came out and sold out, were people really gettong twice what they paid for them if they chose to sell?

If so, I am considering buying up to 10 PS3's and selling 9 of them.

They were going for over $1k/ea on eBay. I bought one...listed it before Christmas..did anybody want to pay more than tax-free retail? No. 🙁

YMMV, but if you can get a few on release, they'll probably sell quickly.

I hope all 9 of your customers stiff you.

ummmm, die.

You first. I hate people who take advantage of others.

I'm sorry, am I forcing these people to buy them? I see not how this would be taking advantage of people.

Probably, if you can manage getting that many at release.

I'd be looking at like $6000 up front.......CAD

:Q

Be sure you can return them if you have to..heh..it would suck if your sales fell through.

If he manages to get a few extra systems, and if others are willing to pay for it, who cares? If they want to pay retail, they can go find one on their own. If they want to find one on eBay, then they pay the going rate.

Suit yourself, slimeball. I guess you don't think there was anything wrong with that one deli in NYC selling bottles of water for $100/bottle on 9/11 to firefighters and others at ground-zero, right? You think there's nothing wrong with that because people were willing to pay that much, right?

You, and others like you, make me sick.

I'm sure they will be returnable. Worse comes to worst, I can always sell them for what I payed.

It didn't. I didn't have any bids over $399.99...so it went back to the store & I was out the ~$8 listing fee.

Is PS3 a nescessity? Water is. Your splitting hairs here with your weak, simple minded argument.

If you equate the need of water with the "need" of a Playstation3 on release, there's something wrong with you.

I don't see any difference. It's the same frame of mind: the abuse of others fueled by greed.

Oh my god, I can't believe you're even comparing these 2 situations. They're completely different. Get a reality check, if people want it bad enough they'll pay it.

Oh my.

If lack of immediate access to the latest gaming consoles is abuse, I've had a very rough life.

I think you've earned this.

You don't see any difference between water and an electronic item?

You've stated your lame point, now quit posting.

Tickets aren't a necessity, but there are scalpers laws against that. Or are they a necessity?
