I HATE the argument that a guy has no right in the say of his childs own well being. If thats the way you want it, then a guy shouldn't pay child support for a pregnant mother right? I mean, it's her own body then she should take care of it.

I'd say the woman has more say, but to exclude the male from any decision regarding the chlid is absurd.

I am pro-life. Agnostic.

I can understand abortion in the case of rape, death of mother, etc. But to prevent a life just because you were irresponsible tards? No thank you. Of course, being born into adoption and state control ain't that grand either, but thats a different story.

I am pro choice... period...

When you are a pregnant woman... you decide for yourself, until then, what gives YOU the right to decide over her destiny?

It is the babies desitny that pro-lifers are argueing about. What gives YOU the right to decide its destiny?

NOTHING, and i'm not saying that i have any right to do so either, it's the pro-lifers who say that they do...

So you are probably against drug laws then.

Marijuana? Yes, I don't think that it should be illegal. Heroin, Cocaine, and Meth? I think they should be illegal. We shouldn't turn this into a drug thread though. There are millions of those.

If only it were like that...

I think what actually happens is all of the junkies screw around and have 50 kids, cause everyone to pay more taxes for programs to help them, flood the schools with morons, and fill the workforce with lazy people. This makes people who would be responsible parents have to work 2 jobs to pay for things since they pay so many taxes, so they have to send their kids to school with the other kids who's parents teach them to sell drugs when they are 11.

I try to keep 2 opinions on everything. One "idealistic" opinion, and one "realistic" opinion. Sometimes they don't match up ;)

I think it has mostly to do with the fact that most of themare idiots. There like terrorists. Basing everything on a book, leaving reality as a secondary concept. Whatever hapened to being free, you know. I think pro-lifers shouldn't be allowed to eat meat....you know. Take away one of there freeedoms for absolutely no reason.

I agree, but prefer to call them the opposite of pro-choicers... anti-choicers... they want to decide about other peoples lifes, they want to TAKE AWAY the choice...

of course... they are not pregnant women without any hopes for their child, so it's ok for them to judge...

Ignorance is bliss...

I've come to a conclusion on all topics like abortion.
I've come to a conclusion on all topics like abortion.
I've come to a conclusion on all topics like abortion.

Until it effects me, I don't think about it. I don't know what goes on in the mind of someone faced with a difficult decision. I have no right to assume I know what goes on in someone elses mind and I have no right to assume I know what is best for them or what morality issues play in their minds. We are all individuals with individual concepts, individual idealologies and individual morals. I believe I am NOT allowed the right to discuss matters like this unless I have faced them on my own. And even if I do face them on my own, I am an individual, so I still do not have the right to force my opinion on others.

People faced with difficult decsions don't need me bithcing in their ears. I will leave them alone and let them sort out their demons on their own. Only they can decide what is best for them.

If I ever faced a hard issue on my own, and came to my own conclusion, I can then give advice to others, but still, I am not the one to make their decision. Only advise them.

What can i say... it's kinda sad that you couldn't make the argument on your own, yet every argument is influenced... and i do agree... so...

You know, I never thought about it. Pro-life vs pro-choice is equivilent to anti-choice vs pro-choice. Put in that light, it makes much more sense! Especially when you consider the fact that Pro-life vs pro-choice is NOT equivilent to Pro-life vs anti-life.

Exactly... and that is what it's all about, the choice of the mother...
