Question about posting

My wife and I have two pugs. They recently had 5 puppies and we are trying to sell them. I am not sure
about posting the info in off topic or FS/Trade. I figured it couldn't hurt to ask before I post (I know this is
not really PC related but I am trying to get them sold before our son is born in Oct)

it s ok to post in the FS/FT. i have seen quite many people posting such things before in FS/T (but most of them were giving away the pet for free)

Yeah we are trying to sell them first. We bought our two for about $450 each. You figure if someone is willing to pay that much for an animal they will be more inclined to take good care of it at least.

That sounds right to me although an experienced FS/FT trader can chime in.

A few suggestions on selling your puppies:

• 1) Contact a Pug breeder in your area to get some advice. Some will sell your puppy for you for a small fee.
• 2) Take a few pictures of each puppy and together. Do not underestimate the power of your local classifieds ads. When we considered getting Chihuahua's we first searched The Oregonian newspaper, not AT forums. Most of your local Cincy and other major Ohio newspapers should have free access to classifieds ads online.
• 3) Again make sure to take a few pics of each puppy and together. List an ad in craigslist with the puppy pics.
• 4) Place a brief ad in your sig here on the forums. Linking to your FS/FT thread which should have detailed information and pics. Your sig should be concise but detailed.

Thanks RossMAN we have them listed in the local paper and on the Cincinnati.com home page. Also have pics and a sign in my office and my wifes. I posted them in the FS/Trade if anyone wants to take a look also have some pics even if you are not interested in buying one they are fun to look at.

Looks like you already have most of it covered

1) Your webshots link isn't working for me.
2) I would edit your FS/FT thread title to include Cincy, OH and the price.
3) Don't forget to update your ATOT sig.
4) List it in craigslist.org
