Question about Pigs in Space

Why is it that a lot of pigs (Miss Piggy, Dr. Julius Strangepork, Link Hogthrob, etc...) that go into space don't seem as if they're built to survive in a vacuum or the harsh conditions of space?

Shouldn't they be wearing respirators, at least?

It's all staged, they never actually went to space. Look at the shadows!

This is the real reason The Muppets went off air. They lost their audience by droves due to the technical inaccuracies in their recreations.
This is, BTW, the same reason the History and Science channel is doing so well, their ability to get every small detail of ancient aliens and junk store finds correct.
