In Mirror's Edge, I think it's the 2nd level where you're inside the building and you're getting chased, does it slow down to a crawl (1920x1200, 2AA, PhysX on) when the glass starts shattering?
It goes to around 0-5fps at that part for me with CPU physx.
Now I got the 4870 working with my 8800GT for PhysX (ie. I can choose enable physx in the nV control panel) in WINDOWS XP. However, it still gets to a crawl (5-10fps) at that part but just not as bad as with the CPU. I thought it would be much faster.
Is it that slow even with geforce physx?
UPDATE:
No it's not working even though I can enable Geforce PhysX in the nV control panel.
