Hello everyone,

A couple of years ago, something happened to me and I ended up being bruised pretty badly. However, my left arm(Had a huge bruise on it at the time) still hurts whenever someone tries to grab me(Not in a violent way). It still hurts a lot but there is no discolouration there. Is it possible that my arm is still bruised?

If you never got your hand actually checked out, there is a possibility you broke, fractured, or otherwise damaged something in you hand. It most likely didn't heal properly.

And I am confused at why you would feel the need to specify if someone tries to grab your in a nonviolent way vs trying to grab your hand in a violent way. I am sure either would cause pain.

A bruise typically recovers in a few days or weeks. If you still have pain at that location, it's a sign that something else is still injured. Whether that's a muscle, ligament, bone, tendon, organ, etc - something is still not right. If it's not in a significant area (forearm, arm, calf) and the pain is more superficial, you probably don't need a doctor's visit. Might just be a continued muscle strain or something like that. In that case, stretch it, do some exercises for the muscle group, and use it. It'll get better with time.
