Question About PCI Express.

I have an MSI P6N SLI Platinum motherboard, which can have 1 x16 or 2 x8 PCI express cards. Does performance take a big hit from only x8 PCI express? Because I want to go for SLI.

Allright, so I will only be a few FPS short of dual x16?

IIRC, the only setup that shows a statistically significant gain from x16/x16 over x8/x8 SLI is a pair of 8800GTXs. Even then, it's still a single-digit percentage difference.
