Question about passport

Have you tried calling NPIC (National Passport Information Center) at 1-877-487-2778 and asking them? Their hours are 5:00 AM to 7:00 PM Pacific.

I called them yesterday and asked, and they gave me a number to US Vital Records. My old passport was issued at around 5 or 6, most likely expired around age 11, which would mean it's been expired for about 26 years. I'll have to apply in person. I'm going to get a certified copy of my BC anyways and have both just in case when the time comes to apply. Thanks all!
