Question about Partition Software

First off...yes I searched but did not find anything conclusive. I need to know what everyone believes is the best Partition Software out there. I can get Norton PartitionMagic 8.0 for about 56 bucks...but I saw a few people had issues with it.

What I need to do is combine my 2 partitions together into one after my windows install because I don't have an SP2 Disc, I only have an original and yeah I tried to slipstream it together...that didn't work without errors because my I386 folder won't copy properly.

So what does everyone use around here and is PartitionMagic that bad? I'm probably only going to use it once.

You can download SP2 for free from the Microsoft website if thats all you need...

But to your question - I have never had a problem with Partition Magic. Thats the only software I have ever used and it has not failed me yet.

I did that and it didn't recognize it after installation (and slipstreaming it together with my intall CD turned out to be crrupted) so I had to wipe everything and start back over with 2 partitions. So what I want to do is merge them together so I'm back to one 250gb partition instead of 2 125gb partitions.
