hey....

I have completely dead laptop hard drive is a slim ibm travelstar hard drive, just wondering what are those special screw drivers you use to open it? I saw them in ebay once but I don't remember what are they called... anyone know where I could find this screw drivers?

thank you for your time........

some leathermans have those...dunno what model it is but my dad has one. it's cool to see the inside for the 1st time, the platter surface looks like a flawless mirror, very neat looking.

Torx probably. If you're unlucky, they'll be tamper-proof torx (the same as a normal torx, but with a spike in the middle).
There are plenty of other types of strange screws/bits, but torx are probably the most common.

Any good electronics store should have them. Also, if they are torx, any decent hardware store will have them.
