I am looking at getting a cheap 39" Sieki 4K TV to replace my bedroom TV. For anyone interested, it is $299 at Walmart.
This TV natively supports 4K@30Hz over HDMI, but I was wondering if it would support 4K@60Hz via the 4:2:0 subsampling that Nvidia introduced in it's latest driver. Apparently the TV is capable of 120Hz @ 1080p via HDMI, although I am not positive if that uses interpolation or not.
This TV would only be used for movies when using the connected PC, so I don't think I'd mind the way the 4:2:0 color looks.
What do ya think?
Actually, the more I think about it, since most movies run at 24fps, it shouldn't matter.
Still curious if anyone has tried this though...
