Question about Norton Ghost 2002

gopunk

Lifer
i read that i have to save the image to either another computer, drive, or partition... what i'm wondering is if it will create a partition for me...

right now i have one hd, and that's it. does it create partitions, or do i need to reinstall xp, and tell it to create some partitions during setup? thanks.

this is what it does:

the source HD, lets say it has 2 partitions, you want an image of the HD, so you take a destination HD, and you boot up with Ghost on the source PC, you do all the setting up, and it will image evrything from the source, including partions, after, theres no need to install or setup anything on the destinaion HD

I don't think that it creates partitions for you, but you can create a partition using Partition Magic, then having Ghost image your drive to that second partition. Hope this helps.
